Three decades reaching for the summit. One unwavering commitment.
I have sat where you’re sitting. Led through the complexity, the ambiguity, and the weight of accountability. That experience doesn’t inform my opinions — it deepens my presence.
From the boardroom to the coaching room and back again.
My career began not as a coach, but as a strategist, a change leader, a corporate executive navigating the same corridors of power my clients now walk. For over thirty years, I led enterprise transformations, shaped organisational culture, and advised at the highest levels of Malaysian and regional business.
What I discovered, slowly and then all at once, was that the most consequential work didn’t happen in strategy decks or board presentations. It happened in the moments when a leader paused, reflected, and chose who they were going to be next. I became obsessed with those moments. And eventually, I committed my practice entirely to creating the conditions for them.
Today, my work is defined by one principle: to be the one person in your orbit who is fiercely independent of your hierarchy, completely free of your politics, and wholly committed to your growth as a leader and as a human being.
Why I founded
The Leadership Factor.
After three decades inside corporate life, I had witnessed something that no one seemed to speak about directly: the paradox of seniority. The more successful a leader becomes, the fewer people they can truly think aloud with. The higher the altitude, the thinner the air — and the quieter the room.
I had lived that paradox myself. And I had watched it quietly diminish some of the most capable leaders I had ever known — not because they lacked intelligence or commitment, but because they had no space that was genuinely independent of their hierarchy, their politics, and the weight of consequence.
In 2015, I founded The Leadership Factor to provide exactly that. Not advice. Not frameworks. Not another voice with an agenda. A consequence-free space — rigorous, confidential, and entirely committed to the leader in the room. A mirror to surface what is unseen. A peer-level partnership that exists outside the organisation, independent of its structures and free from its pressures.
The name reflects what I have come to believe, absolutely, after thirty years of observing enterprise at the highest levels: leadership is not one factor among many in the success of an organisation. It is the factor. Everything else follows from the quality of the thinking, the decisions, and the presence of the people at the top.
Since founding the practice, I have partnered with hundreds of leaders across EMEA, the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Asia-Pacific region — across Banking & Finance, Technology, Pharma, and Global Manufacturing. Each engagement is different. The principle behind every one is the same.
Coaching is not
consulting. Not therapy.
Not advice.
It is the discipline of creating a space so rigorous, so honest, and so free from agenda that the leader in front of me can finally hear their own thinking with full clarity.
Deep Presence
I bring my whole attention to you — not my experience, not my frameworks, not my instinct to solve. The most powerful thing a coach can offer is the quality of their listening.
Radical Candour
I will say the things that don't get said in your organisation. Not to challenge your authority, but to protect it — because leaders who cannot hear honest feedback become isolated, and isolation is dangerous at altitude.
Your Autonomy
I hold no agenda for your decisions. My role is not to lead you to my conclusions — it is to create the conditions in which you reach your own, with greater clarity, conviction, and self-awareness than before.

The numbers
that define
the practice.
In a field where anyone can call themselves a coach, these figures represent something harder to acquire: time, rigour, and an unyielding commitment to the craft of professional coaching at the highest level.
They are not the measure of my value to you. But they are the foundation of the trust we will build.

A Chemistry Conversation First
Every engagement begins with a private, no-obligation conversation. I want to understand your context, your goals, and your concerns. You want to understand who I am and how I work. Both of us are deciding whether this is the right partnership.

A Bespoke Engagement Design
There is no off-the-shelf programme here. Every engagement is designed around you — your role, your challenges, your organisation's context, and what success genuinely means for you at this stage of your leadership evolution.

Deep, Confidential Coaching Sessions
Our sessions are a protected space. Nothing leaves the room. You can think aloud, be uncertain, challenge your own assumptions, and explore the edges of your leadership without consequence. That freedom is the point.

Continuous Evolution Between Sessions
Real growth doesn't happen in the coaching room — it happens in the weeks between sessions, as you lead differently, notice differently, and choose differently. I support that integration through structured reflection and accountability.
What leaders say.
She challenged my assumptions with radical candour whilst honouring my autonomy as the decision-maker. The reflective space she created was unlike anything I’d experienced at this level.
CEO
I moved from doing to being — from functional expertise to enterprise leadership. The shift in my executive presence was immediate. And lasting.
Rohaizan holds up a mirror with extraordinary precision. Not once did she tell me what to do — but in every session, I left knowing exactly what I needed to do next.
